BILLIB has been one of the first companies to use electronic money in B2B environments in Spain, and since last year it has started operations in Mexico as one of the first to take advantage of the new fintech regulations

Taulia, Tradeshift, C2F2 and BILLIB are nowadays the main agents in the SCF (Supply Changes Finance) world, each one identified within their own territory, although all with the ambition to cover the international market.

BILLIB has been one of the first companies to use electronic money in B2B environments in Spain, and since last year it has started operations in Mexico as one of the first to take advantage of the new fintech regulations in the country. It is a financial and technological solution pioneer in Europe that allows companies to efficiently, securely and profitably manage payments and prompt payments of invoices to their suppliers.

BILLIB was born as a project by the Japanese group Everis and is currently invested by one of the main Spanish banks: BANKIA, a small great guarantee of continuity for all large corporations that are considering entrusting part of their attractive supplier payment business to this not-so-young startup.

BILLIB in Mexico relies on the AVANQUIA, which offers the RaaS (Regulatory as a Service) service through technological integration with 101OBeX.com (101 Open Banking eXperience), resulting in integration services with AVANQUIA as part of the content of its API Manager. This allows any company to open accounts through 101OBeX in AVANQUIA, control and administer the different account levels and their corresponding KYC, as well as  money sending or withdrawal services.

Thanks to the integration between BILLIB and AVANQUIA through 101OBeX, companies in Mexico are able to share with their suppliers prompt payment proposals for their invoices, which once agreed upon, are instantly settled in AVANQUIA accounts.

BILLIB is fast-growing within the API Products catalog, specifically when referring to account opening and money movements between accounts of an entity. If you want to know more about this project, contact the 101OBeX team at insider@obex.com.
